1976-1980

One of the best acquisitions that Universal has made is the comic panel Ziggy. When the late Jim Andrews asked me to help him find our first panel for syndication, I brought him a special little book called From Me to You and it featured this character Ziggy going through life with everything going wrong no matter what he touched. If he hung a picture on the wall, the whole wall came tumbling down. If he carried a bag of groceries, for sure the milk bottle would fall through and break, etc. Jim really liked this character and developed it with Tom Wilson for national syndication. It gave a real jump start to our company. Happy 35th Anniversary, Tom and Ziggy.
